Open Seat on the Board of Directors
PARKER WATER & SANITATION DISTRICT,
of Douglas County, Colorado
The Parker Water and Sanitation District Board of Directors are seeking candidates for Appointment for one (1) open position on the Parker Water and Sanitation District Board . The term for this office is through May 2016.
Directors provide a vital service to our community. Their responsibilities include:
• Directing financial planning and budgeting
• Formulating policies
• Authorizing debt
• Establishing fees and charges
To be eligible to run for the position of Director, candidates must be eligible electors of the Parker Water & Sanitation District as set forth in C.R.S. § 32-1-103(5).

Board Members Sworn In
Two Board members for Parker Water and Sanitation District were sworn in Thursday, May 22nd, at the District Board meeting. The District is governed by a five-person elected Board of Directors. In 2014, two of the Board positions were up for re-election. Eligible Board members live in the District, and volunteer their time and expertise to address a variety of water-related projects and plans.
Re-elected past PWSD Board members Merlin Klotz and Darcy Beard were sworn in by Douglas County Clerk and Recorder, Jack Arrowsmith.
The PWSD Board also voted Darcy Beard to serve as Board Chair, Bill Wasserman to serve as Vice-Chair, Merlin Klotz to serve as Treasurer and Kelly McCurry to serve as Secretary.
