A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Director Beard specializes in accounting, budgeting and management of water and sanitation districts. For over 20 years, Darcy’s expertise, advice and fiscal restraint have ensured that each of the seven districts she serves operate in a fiscally responsible manner through annual budget studies, annual rate reviews, review of capital improvement programs and monthly review of all income and expenditures.
Darcy has lived in Parker since 1992 and has been married to Steve Beard for over 30 years. They have two sons, Kyle and Ryan Beard. She enjoys traveling, photography and gardening in her spare time.
Director Wasserman has 15+ years’ experience as an Executive Recruiter. Currently, he is President of Parker Executive Search Consultants Inc. Prior to becoming a recruiter, he had 23 years’ experience in the Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Industries in Operation’s Management. Bill held various Senior Management positions including Director of Packaging, Director of Corporate Production Planning Inventory Control, and Director of Purchasing.
Bill has a Bachelor’s Degree from Grand Valley State University and a Master’s Degree in Business from Florida Atlantic University. He served as past Chairman and Vice chairman of the Economic Development Board for the City of Sunrise, Florida. He is an active member of Ave Maria Catholic Church and serves as a member of the Parish Council.
Bill has been married to his wife Nancy for 45 years. They have two grown sons and two granddaughters.
Director McCurry is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Colorado with over 20 years of experience in municipal and industrial water, wastewater and wet waste design/build, construction, process, treatment and engineering and operational management. Kelly earned his Bachelors of Science in Nuclear Engineering in 1990.
Kelly, his wife Sabine and son Connor moved to Parker in 2007 and settled in Canterberry Crossing. In addition to their day jobs, Kelly and Sabine are small business owners since 2010 operating a sustainability focused vintage clothing and jewelry boutique.
Director Klotz retired from Media News [The Denver Post] where he was controller for Fox Street and Commercial Production plants for 14 years. As a CPA working in private industry his career included numerous start-up and turnaround situations in construction, oil and gas production, manufacturing and data processing services.
Merlin was appointed to PWSD Board in 2012 and re-elected in 2014 and elected as Douglas County Clerk and Recorder in 2014 and 2018.
Dale Reiman retired from National Hirschfeld as a sales representative after 40 years in commercial printing. As an employee in the private industry his job included many aspects of printing – sales, controller, estimating, purchasing, and production manager.
Dale is married to his wife, Sue. He has three children, Tim, Pat and Anne and seven grandchildren. Dale was initially appointed to the PWSD Board in August, 2014, and re-elected in 2016.
